On Abstract Photography and Thinking Differently

There have been many times in my life when everyone around me thinks a certain way and I see things from a vastly different point of view. It’s as if I’m not wired quite the same as a lot of people, which is one of the reasons I create abstract photography that doesn’t fit the mold.
I remember one time when I was talking with some people and I offered some ideas that elicited puzzled looks. I tried to explain my perspective but no one seemed to get what I was saying. The strange thing is that my ideas seemed obvious and commonplace to me.
I’ve used my unconventionality to live an authentic and deeply fulfilling life. I do what I want and think and feel in my own particular way, without worrying about what others say. What has been your experience with thinking differently?
